Why I Like Bulk Vending

The vending machine business is a great business for someone looking to start a home based business. It’s not as easy as some of the information you find online may lead you to believe, but it’s not a scam either, as other people may believe. It’s a normal small business like any other. The failure rate is high, but this is true in most businesses. Just because a lot of people fail in vending doesn’t mean it’s a scam either.
The main reasons I personally like vending:
It’s easy. Seriously, anyone can do vending. All you have to do is buy a couple of vending machines for a couple hundred bucks and you’re off. A lot of people make the mistake of believing that just because vending is easy to start, this translates that it is easy to make a lot of money, but this is simply not the case. However, if you pursue vending as a business, have a plan, keep your expenses low, work diligently and keep moving forward, vending can make you a decent income. It’s important to note that most people end up doing vending part time, so it sort of becomes a hobby income, and therefore most people never get to the point where they make any sort of decent money.
Self Employment. Yeah! Self employment – Who doesn’t like the way that sounds? This is the great American dream, make your own hours, do your own thing. Well, it’s all true, self employment rocks! Of course it’s not without its down side. Not everyone is qualified to be self employed. Everyone thinks they’re cut out to be self employed but most people aren’t. To be self employed you need to be self motivated, ambitious, have good time management skills, be able to play well with others, be detail oriented, make good financial decisions, able to move forward after making bad decisions, be comfortable with the uncertainty of a regular paycheck, paid vacation or a benefit package.
Puttering. This may seem like a stupid thing to some people but I love to putter. With vending I get to drive around town, chit chat with a lot of different people and basically have a leisurely paced stress free job. There are no emergencies in vending, no time crunches, and no place to be, it’s the ultimate for a putterer like myself.
